Adamari Lopez is a Puerto Rican actress known for starring in various Puerto Rican and Mexican soap operas. She is currently a host on the Telemundo morning show Hoy Dia and is a Latina ambassador for WW, formerly Weight Watchers.
She was born on 18 May 1971 in Humacao, Puerto Rico as Adamari Lopez Torres. She is currently 50 years old. Adamari started her career at the young age of 6 and built up a resume with a huge experience over the years playing on several soap operas and appearing as a TV show host.
Adamari Lopez Announces Her Split From Toni Costa
Adamari Lopez and Toni Costa have decided to call it quits in their relationship after 10 years of being together.
Previously, the TV presenter had shared with Mandy Fridman from the newspaper La Opinion that she was going through relationship hardships with the father of her daughter, Alaia.
After weeks of rumors about the distance between them, Adamari revealed that she decided to separate from Toni during her TV show Hoy Dia. She said, “It was my decision that I thought about, and analyzed.” And added that, “I found the importance of putting my family’s well-being first,” as she concluded by saying, “It is time to continue our separate lives.”
Costa, for his part, took to his Instagram page on 27 May 2021 that he and Adamari were “temporarily separated” and that he will not give further statements in this regard out of respect for his little daughter. The relationship between the two came to an end. “We will continue to work hand in hand with God to restore our family and unite the future together,” wrote Toni in his post.
The duo was one of the strong couples with a stable relationship of 10 years. However, some rumors began to surface among the public about the possible relationship between them. At the time, they responded to those rumors with some sweet family snaps in an exclusive photoshoot carried out by HOLA! USA, in early February of 2021, and spoke about their relationship over the years with them.
The pair first contacted when they became dance partners during the second season of Univision’s television competition Mira Quien Baila in 2011. Adamari was 40 at the time, while Toni was 25. They hit off better together, having fun. The public was curious about their relationship as they were seen together most of the time.

Escaping the media initially, the duo appeared as two lovebirds officially in January 2012 while enjoying their first vacation in Puerto Rico after publicly confirming their relationship. They also posed as a happy couple in one of their first photoshoots for an edition of the important magazine People en Espanol. With a long-time wish to become a mother, Adamari finally announced her pregnancy in 2014 and had her first daughter together with Toni in March 2015.

Prior to her relationship with Toni Costa, Adamari Lopez married Luis Fonsi in 2006 after three years of dating and divorced in 2010.
They tied the knot in a dream-like wedding ceremony in Puerto Rico in 2006. Unfortunately, their love chapter ended in 2010 with a divorce. In her memoir Viviendo, Lopez tells her version of their breakup, alleging that Fonsi was unfaithful and not totally supportive during her cancer battle, as reported by PEOPLE.
A statement was made by Lopez herself, saying in one of her interviews promoting her memoir saying that Fonsi was the one who discovered a small lump in her breast and urged her to get it checked out, and thanks to that moment, she got a chance to win the battle against her cancer.
