Her prime suspect husband, Greg was arrested in 2020 after his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Spohn testified against him and stated that he saw him walk out of their family van on the night of murder. Greg placed a bag in her car and later, Spohn threw the bag in a bridge where the purported murder weapon was present.
After his arrest in 2020, Greg was found not guilty in 2022 when the evidence was found to be inconclusive and tampered with by a 12-person jury in October 2023. Hence, Greg was released on a bail bond worth $400,000.
