Farewell Raphael Coleman.

Former British child actor Raphael Coleman, who played the role of Eric in 2005 movie Nanny McPhee died on 6 February 2020, at the age of 25. He starred on Nanny McPhee alongside Emma Thomson and Colin Firth and had played in several movies like It's Alive (2009) and The Fourth Kind (2009).

His parents, mother, and stepfather, confirmed his death over separate social media posts. His mother, Liz Jensen, tweeted:

Liz also thanked her followers for the tribute towards her son and tweeted:

"Thank you so much for all the beautiful tributes to our beloved Raphael. Extinction Rebellion is celebrating his remarkable life as a wildlife biologist and activist on Thursday in London."

Meanwhile, Raphael's stepfather Carsten Jensen released a lengthy statement on his Facebook:

"To die young

I guess there's nothing that makes you see death as unfair and meaningless as when a young person dies. It's life itself that's sabotaged. It just happened to my wife, Liz, whose youngest son, Raph of only 25, died last Friday. He collapsed without prior health problems in the middle of a trip and could not be restored. I got to know raph when he was six years old, and we were so close."

According to his stepfather Carsen, Raphael traveled around the world alone at the age of 18 and became a biologist. He had devoted his time to the Buddhist monastery in Thailand and had even traveled to Costa Rica and Indonesia.

Carsen was pretty much close with the Nanny McPhee child star, and he remembered his step-son and gave an emotional tribute:

"Who was raph? As a child, he was old-wise, extremely literate and loved to lecture adults with his always astonishing knowledge. He was a child actor in the popular British Comedy Nanny Mcphee, where he played himself with great talent, a little redhead boy who was always mixing explosive chemical ingredients. He had several roles, was rewarded and could have chosen a career as an actor. But he wanted to be a scientist, not to blow up something, as his figure in Nanny Mcphee, but to save the planet."

Raphael studied zoology at the University of Manchester and had dedicated himself as an activist, working at wildlife conservation.

The former child star Raphael was born on 30 September 1994 in Wandsworth, London, England. His death at the age of 25 came to a shock for both his parents Carsten Jensen and Liz Jensen.

Raphael's cause of death was collapse - various sources report that he died collapsing while on the run.

Rest In Peace to the young soul!!!
