"Dawn and I are so very happy to announce that we will be expecting a little boy or girl into this world, summer 2021. I have been nervous every step of the way, as I am sure many mothers whom after having had a miscarriage can relate. Every doctor's appointment, every trip to the bathroom, every workout, every meal — I am overly cautious. one thing is for sure: this little rainbow baby will be loved."
She also said that Still Your Mother is an illustration of an incredibly personal time in her life, which outlines not only her experience with having miscarried a child but also looking toward, hopefully, growing a family after such a deep and silent loss. She had felt that hidden hurt that no one else felt, saw, or knew about, but she carried the pain of miscarriage as close to her as she carried her own breath.

Vocalist and songwriter Harper Grae was born on 4 July 1990 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born Shanna Henderson.
Her parents divorced when she was young and when her father remarried. Her mother didn't raise her.
Her grandparents, Ann and Roger Harper, and her aunt Dianne Harper raised her after her parents were no longer able to take care of her and her sister. She grew up in Reeltown, Alabama, with her sister.
Shanna has attended Auburn University in Alabama to study Musical Theatre and Religious Studies.
