Asna Tabassum Banned From Graduation Speech
Asna Tabassum, who had been selected as this year's top performer at the University of Southern California, was banned from making a graduation speech over her anti-Israel views has doubled down despite a furious backlash. After she was selected, pro-Israel groups slammed her selection for her posts questioning the Israel-Hamas conflict. Eventually, the college removed her claiming safety over tradition. However, she said that she wasn't buying the safety claim made by the university officials after they offered her no specifics.
As per records, Asna Tabassum has shared pro-Palestinian views and 'likes' expressed through her Instagram account which she has since made private and removed her postings.
