How do we deal with the suspects?

Well, we do not give them the taste of death, but we interrogate them and find out whether they are criminals or not. However, the story here is different.

The former police officer named Gregory McMichael, age 64, and his son, Travis McMichael, age 34, shot down an unarmed black man named Ahmaud Arbery, age 25, saying that they thought Ahmaud looked like the suspect of recent break-ins in the area.

As per the police reports, Ahmaud was jogging in the Satilla Shores neighborhood just outside of Brunswick in Glynn County, Georgia, when the duo of father-son chased and killed him in action on 23 February 2020.

Ahmaud Arbery, The Unarmed Black Man Was Murdered In The Streets Of Brunswick, GA

Footage has surfaced of the shooting that occurred on 23 February 2020 that killed a 25-year-old young man named Ahmaoud Arbery.

In a video that surfaced on 5 May 2020, Ahmaud can be seen running down the shady two-lane residential road in the streets of Brunswick, GA, and he ends up in front of a white truck with its driver's side window open. Ahmaud quickly disappears, and the sounds of shouting come before the gunshots get fired three times.

As per the shooters (Gregory and Travis McMichael) statement, they saw Ahmaud running through their neighborhood and thought he was a suspect for the rash of break-ins. They armed themselves and began the hunt of Ahmaud in a truck, which eventually took the life of an innocent man.

However, Ahmad's family and friends believe that he was a avoid jogger, and he committed no crime.

After the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, Gregory and his son Travis McMichael has been arrested despite one attorney cited that Travis acted out of self-defense, which is a kind of pathetic act in the name of the law.

The murder has activated several stakes. And the Georgia district attorney recommended that the case goes to the grand jury recently. Similarly, the district attorney for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, Tom Durden, mentioned that he expects to lead the case to the next grand jury in Glynn County.

He wrote:

“I am of the opinion that the case should be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County for consideration of criminal charges.”

With clear expectations, the attorney looks forward to finding out whether the suspects of Ahmaud's murders were involved during the shootouts.

Facts About Ahmaud Arbery's Death

Ahmaud's mother, Wanda Cooper, confronted CNN and mentioned that her son was unarmed when he got gunned down. She stated that the authorities told that Ahmaud was involved in a burglary, and there was a struggle over a gun between him and the homeowner.

One of the claims of Gregory McMichael (the shooter) is that Ahmaud violently attacked his son Travis McMichael. Well, that seems relatable. How can a person be still when he is about to be gunned down? It might be the same circumstance for the shooters and Ahmaud.

The case got transferred to the Ware County District Attorney to Liberty County. As Gregory McMichael is a former police officer, he has a tie to Glynn County, after which it got referred to Ware County. However, the murder case again got referred to Liberty County to minimize the potential disputes as the District Attorney in Glynn County is the son of Ware County District Attorney.
