Steve Bullock has dropped from the presidential race. The 24th Governor of Montana, Steve took his Twitter on the 2nd of December to announce his campaign withdrawal:

Today, I’m suspending my campaign for President. Thank you for your belief, your trust, and your support.

He also issued a statement to Medium:

Today, I announced that I’m suspending my campaign for President. While there were many obstacles we could not have anticipated when entering into this race, it has become clear that in this moment, I won’t be able to break through to the top tier of this still-crowded field of candidates.

A compromise between two extremes of the Democratic poles, Steve was the only Democratic candidate to win a statewide race in a state Donald Trump had won in 2016. He has continuously stressed in fighting the influence of money in politics.

He was the last Democrat to declare presidency as twenty-one others had already declared before him. The late start, though, resulted in him missing out on the first rounds of the Democratic debates.

While Steve was still in the race, he had created a Political Action Committee, named Big Sky Values as a medium to reach out to potential Democratic donors.

Steve is married to Lisa Bullock since 1999. His wife, Lisa, currently works as a Research and Development Manager for Court View Justice Solutions (CJS).  She regularly volunteers at her own children's elementary school and also coaches her children's basketball teams. She is also an advocate, alongside her husband for feeding hungry kids.
