She said, “I am not where I want to be right now, body wise. I don’t know if I ever will be, but when I see it right in front of me, it really does send me down that path. And I am doing my best to be positive and more full of joy and hopefully my body will follow along. I’m not there yet.”
She then continued to uplift herself and said, “We can all give ourselves permission to feel joy, be intentional about it, and remember to be grateful. I am grateful, even though all the mess, cause there’s still good in all the mess.”
The actress had also talked about her self-acceptance with People in 2020 and recalled the time when her teacher patted on her belly and said to keep an eye on that. She shared, “I don’t weigh myself as much anymore. I’ll put on some jeans every once in a while to see how they feel. Why do I have to know what number I am? I know it’s really about the internal work.”
