Nicole Young, rapper Dr. Dre's wife, filed for a divorce against the rapper recently. Young was seen leaving the Century City attorney's office on 2 July 2020 after three hours of meeting. Reports suggest that the meeting was possibly concerned with the divorce of her with Dr. Dre after 24 years of marriage.
The couple's divorce proceeding started on 29 July 2020 after Young filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. She is represented by a high-profiled celebrity lawyer Samantha Spector. Their divorce settlement will now proceed soon, and it will be decided who will get what fortune in their part.
The settlement will also include the custody of their two kids, namely, Truice and Truly. Since both of their kids are adults now, child support might not be a problem for them. Besides, they have a couple of homes in Brentwood and Pacific Palisades. Dr. Dre bought the Brentwood estate for $50 million and Pacific Palisades for $2.25 million, and they are on the negotiation process to split the properties.
