Five years later, Cheryl realized how 'inconsiderate' it was of her word choice. Recently, in April 2021, during her Pretty Messed Up podcast, she kept on the apologetic vibe and asked for an apology describing the situation of her dissing Ian.

Following the divorce case, as Ludwig was not involved in any jobs, she requested spousal support from Ziering. Ziering accepted the proposal for a limited time and encouraged her to get a job.
