The 30 year old rapper, Fetty Wap was arrested Friday afternoon at NEWARK Liberty International Airport saying that he had an outstanding warrant in connection to a public nuisance charge.
According to a spokesperson of the Authority Police Department, “Officers were dispatched to an ankle monitor call for an active warrant out of North Bergen, New Jersey. An active warrant was identified and the suspect was then transported to our Central Police Desk which is our main checkpoint for arrest processing.”
The specifics of the incident that led to the arrest warrant are currently unclear and the spokesperson has shared that the rapper has now been released on bail with no bail amount listed. The rapper was previously arrested by FBI in October and charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances like cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine from 2019 to 2020.

After the dramatic separation form Leandra, Fetty Wap posted a picture and video of his new girlfriend captioning the date ‘5.3.20’ with a heart emoji. Many people called him out for quickly jumping from one woman to another instead of congratulating him.
The rapper had posted a lengthy post in his story apologizing for his mistakes and bad decisions dedicating to his current girlfriend and his daughters writing, “I’m sorry for embarrassing you & embarrassing my daughters as a father. I know if someone treated my daughters the way I’ve treated people I would be in max lockup. I am not proud of the man I am today but ima change that for myself and or my children especially my daughters and for you.”
