The former IZ*ONE member Choi Ye Na has personally shut down all the rumors about her involvement with Jaesan Holdings Chairman through an official statement released by her agency.
The singer’s name was recently surfaced in an alleged controversial illegal sponsorship when private messages were leaked of a celebrity named A and the chairman of Jaesan Holdings named Lee Jae Hwan. He is also a younger brother of the chairman of CJ Group. Many people speculated that the celebrity is most likely Choi Ye Na which turned out to be false as per her statements.
The singer-actress Choi Ye Na denied the allegations and clarified in a statement released by her agency, Yuehua Entertainment.
Her statement started with her greetings and said that she firmly made up her mind to write a few words as her name was mentioned in such a shocking case. She said,
“I think I first learned that I was mentioned in a malicious rumor that isn’t true in the slightest when I was looking at articles while just eating at home. He’s a complete stranger to me, and I felt so speechless and flustered while keeping watch of the whole situation in which my full name came up in something I wasn’t involved in even slightly and as that (rumor) quickly spread as if it were the truth. I’m just running towards my dream and working hard on my job, so I don’t know why I have to experience something so ridiculous…I’m still so angry and upset that there seem to be many people who still believe that (this rumor is true).
It also hurts so much to think about how much the fans must have been just as surprised as I was. I’m not the subject of that rumor. It doesn’t even have the slightest relation to me. Please don’t worry.”
Choi Ye Na continued to share her sad feelings about going through this experience and said that she was shocked mentally but plans on doing her best and shaking things off while thinking about all the fans. She added, “I’ll work to impress further as someone who can receive love with optimistic energy while staying strong, true to my nature. Winter has come in full swing! I hope that everyone no longer suffers from this situation. You all know, right? Please always take care of your health first!”
Her label, Yuehua Entertainment released an official statement that clearly said Choi Ye Na had nothing to do with the rumors and plans to take legal actions against malicious commenters. The statement read, “We are firmly confirming that Choi Ye Na has nothing to do with the said rumors. In response, we are taking strict legal action against malicious commenters who inflicted psychological harm and pain on Choi Ye Na, who is just spreading her wings for her dreams in her early 20s.”
Who Is Choi Ye Na?
Choi Ye Na is a South Korean singer and actress famous for being a member of the former IZ*ONE Girl Group which was formed through a reality competition show Produce 48 on Mnet. She was born in Gil-dong, Gangdong, South Korea in 1999 and graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School.
She has an older brother, Sungmin, who is also a member of the boy group, SPEED. She is pretty tall and has a height of 162.5 cm and a weight of 50 kg. Her Instagram account having username ‘yena.jigumina’ has 1 million followers and has an official Twitter account.

It has been reported that the former IZ*ONE member Choi Ye Na is set to have a solo debut in the first half of 2022. Her solo debut was postponed to early next year from this year as her agency decided to launch a new boy group TEMPEST later this year and had to prepare EVERGLOW for their comeback.
However, she has been appearing on many varieties shows like Girl’s High School Mystery Class, Prison Life of Fools, King of Sleeping Man, Bloody Game, and many more. Choi Ye Na has an older sibling named Choi Seungmin. He debuted in a first co-ed group in Kpop called Coed School which consisted of six boys and four girls. He had the position of lead vocalist and main rapper and was the youngest member. Later, the group was divided into two groups where Seungmin was part of the SPEED boy group. The female members were in a separate group called Five Dolls. He has also starred in some Korean dramas and was popular for his cute looks and great performing skills.
