The 32-year-old Bryce Ruthven and his fiancée, Melissa Rawson, welcomed their twins wholeheartedly even though they had arrived ten weeks earlier. They were born on 16 October and are currently in the neonatal intensive care unit.
He introduced his twins to the world by posting two sweet photos of them, holding his fingers and captioning with “The best feeling in the world #fatherhood #twins.”
The couple met each other at the dating show MAFS and continued their relationship outside the show too. They revealed in July this year about expecting twins with the announcement of their engagement.
Rawson was rushed to hospital in Melbourne on Saturday when she was only 29 weeks into her pregnancy.
Bryce said in a posted video,
“We didn’t have your typical Saturday morning. The twin boys didn’t want to stay inside and play, they wanted to come out and meet us in the real world.
They’re going to have to go into special care for a little bit which is just the way it is when they come prematurely. Look we’re not 100 percent ready for them, nothing’s set up, we’ve got everything there to build. But the main thing is Liss is healthy and the two boys are healthy. And soon, we’re gonna be mom and dad.”
