You are bound to achieve something if you give it a tenacious and continuous effort. While that may be the case, people still find a shortcut to do it rather than work hard for it. But it doesn’t mean people don’t give their all effort for it. Likely, the popular personality Angela Deem deemed it possible to lose those banging weight with proper surgery over the span of a year.
She appeared to have quite the voluptuous body a while back, but now she has made it to the headlines with her shocking weight loss. Here’s to know more about her!
Angela Deem's Weight Loss Surgery
Earlier in March this year, Angela revealed having lost about 90lbs of her weight in just under a year.
She talked to Us Weekly about how she noticed her degrading health after gaining weight subsequently while on her time in Nigeria. She said, “I mean, like, I think I gained 20, almost 25 lbs. And it just hit me all at once.”
She continued how those weight gains made her hard to breathe and to walk in the grocery stores, which eventually made her think that she would die if she didn’t lose weight.
Angela then opened up about her surgery to help in weight loss. She eventually went on to lose up to about 90lbs of her previous weight through having liposuction, a gastric sleeve procedure, and a breast reduction in August 2020. The star also addressed shifting her daily activities and smoking lesser that she believes helped her lose weight as well.
As she went on to detail more about her weight loss journey, she also explained that her husband didn’t provide much support during the surgery, which made her feel like she was alone. This case further escalated to being featured in the TV show 90 Day Fiance Tell-All, which caused a huge uproar for the couple.
Due to the emotional distress Angela faced, she became flirty with a man other than her husband. She had enjoyed a beautiful time with her surgeon Dr. Obeng, as she dissed her husband to learn “something from him.” Michael further retorted to his wife’s dissing, saying that maybe she should marry her surgeon instead.
Then came Michael’s aunt Lydia at the time, virtually to tell Angela that she should calm down and the couple shouldn’t escalate the feud any further. However, after that, Angela then gave in to her rage as she went out before flashing her breasts directly to the camera.
She also said Aunt Lydia saying that she was “nosy” all while cursing Michael. Well, what happens after this is up to the couple themselves, so fans have to wait on how they will act in the upcoming days.
Angela Deem Had A Makeover
Despite all those surgeries for weight loss, as Angela entered her TLC show again with her new looks, the viewers and her fans didn’t found it beautiful enough for her outer and facial looks.
As the star promoted a hair straightener via Instagram, the post featured the before and after photos which quite horrified the followers on her Instagram account due to her supposedly fried hair. The fans and followers then mocked her, saying whether the product she was marketing worked well on her or not.
And after the well-received advice from the comments on the post, Angela went for a makeover. In the recent posts, we can see her frequently wearing extensions with long, blonde ponytails, which seemed to be liked by the fans rather than her previous, without makeup looks.
All those undergone surgeries and makeovers can be clearly seen during her appearance in the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? She proudly boasted her newly-transformed slim physiques while jokingly saying, “Vogue, here I come!”
The star also underwent a lip filler in June this year to get those sweet plumped up lips and smooth out lines on her forehead, as she opted to get Revanesse Lips and Xeomin injections.
Angela flaunted her transformed looks throughout her new Instagram posts as of late while also boasting those new slim physiques on a one-piece bathing suit while lounging on a pool floaties. The photograph was taken by @bobbyduque while Angela attended Nick Hogan’s 31st birthday in Las Vegas.
While all these transformations came as a surprising fact for her fans and viewers of 90 Day Fiance, they are also eager to know more about her weight loss journey. Well, as for Angela, we seemingly found a clue that she and her manager met with celebrity fitness trainer Natasha Fett.
That meeting speculated that Deem was hoping to get a separate spinoff of her weight loss journey, although it has not been confirmed yet. We also have yet to hear from the topics of the subject matter themselves.
