Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have celebrated their 11th anniversary.
The singer took to social media to give a sweet message to her partner and husband of 11 years, alongside a stunning photo of the two, which depicts Keys ‘ face and body painted with the word “love” written on her.
Swizz also didn’t shy away to give his own message to themselves on their 11-year long marriage, along with a series of photos of the couple and their children. He wrote:
“Wow it’s officially 11yrs today. Thank you for all of your love and beyond. Your love is the Key to my life Happy anniversary Mrs Dean I love you."
While their anniversary is supposedly on the 31st of July, the couple seemingly celebrated the whole month of their anniversary. They took a trip together with their sons all the way to the house where they got married, yahoo.com reports.

As it seems the couple, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, have been married for a long time, their relationship was quite messy and controversial at the beginning.
Swizz already met with Alicia when they were still teenagers during their high schooling years, but nothing massive happened back in the day. And they finally linked again years later, when the singer was just getting started in the music industry. However, they didn’t immediately click with their romance as Alicia just found him “annoying” at first.
At the time of their meeting in the music industry, Swizz was already a father to two children from two different relationships. He was married to Mashonda Tifrere, which gave birth to another child, Kasseem Dean, in 2006.
Later on, Swizz moved on from the marriage with Mashonda and started dating Alicia. However, the backlash was huge because Mashonda accused Alicia of being a “homewrecker” of her relationship with Swizz.

The three parents involved with the kids co-parent them. In an interview with ABC News, Alicia talked about the co-parenting of her husband’s children with Mashonda, saying:
“We love each other. I mean, we hang out with each other and go to dinner together. Our family is one big, beautiful family… It is a beautiful partnership. I’m very, very proud of that. It is a real thing, and it’s possible.”
Alicia also spoke about her lifestyle with the family during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. She said of spending each day “seeing” and looking at each other” amid the lockdown. But the couple has also learned to give some personal space for each other while making sure they were good, according to insidenove.com.
Moreover, talking about the couple’s two children, Egypt and Genesis, they are already showing off their talent to the world. At just five years old, the eldest, Egypt, pitched in on a beat for Kendrick Lamar and also took the stage with his mom at the 2019 iHeart Radio Music Awards playing piano while she sang.
And the youngest one, Genesis, is also quite capable, as a tabloid was published of him helping to photograph Alicia for her July 2020 InStyle cover.
