Originating science-fiction movies featuring the dramatic visuals and horrific scenes that involve the aliens and zombies are the unique part of Alex Garland's movie production. Despite the presence of unhumanly objects/characters, his productions always have a deeply human core.

With the same features, Alex Garland has brought a new television mini-series named Devs on Hulu. The mini-series first premiered on the 5th of March 2020 as a part of a new production deal with FX. Several artists, including Sonoya Mizuno, Nick Offerman, Jin Ha, Zach Greiner, and Alison Pill, are in the cast of the science fiction/thriller mini-series.

Storyline Of Devs, Alex Garland's New Production

'Devs' plots the story of a character named Forest (portrayed by Nick Offerman), who lost his daughter in a car accident, and he blames himself as accountable for that. He is also in search of salvation for his guilt.

Similarly, another character Lily Chan (portrayed by Sonoya Mizuno), who works in Forest's company Amaya, tends to find her boyfriend, Sergei. In the quest of searching her boyfriend, the facts about the nature of Devs and Forest's will to protect the program comes to her acknowledgment.

As a help, Jamie (portrayed by Zin Ha) comes to her through recruitment, who hopes to prove his worthiness of a second chance to make love with Lily in the mini-series.

Since the mini-series have the emotions of love and guilt, it is considered to be a worthy production of Alex Garland, though he has not attached his unique features like the demonly presence of monsters and aliens.
