Plot And Overall Review
After their confrontation at the station, Kazuya began to follow Ruka. Being annoyed by his following, she hastens her speed to get rid of him. As she was near the stairway, she nearly bumped into a granny but managed to evade her, losing her balance.
After Ruka was going to trip down the stairwell, Kazuya grabs her to soften the fall. After he saved her, Kazuya pleads Ruka not to utter a single word about him and Chizuru to anyone else. After he stated that, Ruka uncovers that she is a rental girlfriend, which makes him shocked.
Kazuya later reveals to Chizuru that Ruka was a rental girlfriend from another company, which causes her a deep sense of disturbance. Chizuru reflected that Ruka was meddling in her job and had no business with them. She began to question why she went out of her way to reveal her secret.
On the college grounds, Kazuya was waiting for Kuribayashi when Ruka suddenly appeared and greeted him. As he saw Kuribayashi, he dashed to an empty classroom with Ruka to uncover why she was on the college grounds. After their brief discussion, Kuribasyashi entered the room where both of them began to hide.
As he was worried that Kuribayashi might find out, Ruka grabbed his hand shortly afterward and began to monitor her phone, making a loud noise. After Kuribayashi spotted them, she thanked him for renting her out regarding their relationship, causing Kuribayashi a deep sense of shame.

When Kazuya discloses to Chizuru what occurred on the college grounds, Ruka suddenly appeared in his apartment. He asked her how she knew where he lived; she replied that Kuribayashi once told her when they were dating.
After their discussion, she promises that she won't utter a single word about Chizuru being a rental girlfriend if Kazuya decides to go out with her and become her boyfriend. She, at that point, uncovers that she fancies and loves him.
After the shocking confession, Chizuru comes out of her apartment. A tangled Kazuya gets Chizuru to divert Ruka so he can leave and tell the truth about them to Kuribayashi about the circumstance.
When Ruka finds him, she gets sad and cries her heart out. Chizuru then advises Kazuya to go out with Ruka. It is uncovered that Ruka has a low pulse rate, and Kazuya was the first person to elevate it to 90 bpm.
Kazuya then decides to go out with Ruka for a short period.
