Plot And Overall Review
Hachiman pleads Hayato to support him on his dummy prom. However, Hayato asks Hachiman's desire and affirms with him about arranging a fake prom.
After hearing him, Hayato rejects Hachiman's desire stating that the Captain Committee has already consented to help the Student Council.
Afterward, their discussion shifts to Yukino as to why he is helping her, to which Hayato scrutinizes and questions Hachiman's technique in utilizing it. Soon after, Hachiman leaves with an answer depicting "a man's pride."
At the seashore, Hachiman prepares for the photoshoot with Yui, Yoshiteru, Hina, and Yumiko. In the middle of the photoshoot, Hina likewise questions Hachiman's strategy, to which he answers the most straightforward approach are the most troublesome.
In the gaming club room, Hachiman's group is choosing the photos for their prom. Afterward, they issue the declaration of their prom with the title "Prom Saikou Project" via web-based media. With the Prom Saikou Project's declaration, Hachiman calls Haruno and requests to meet with them.
Hachiman and Yui meet up with Haruno to request her to distribute the info about their prom at a cafe. Haruno also questions Hachiman why he is taking this excessively far, which she sees as codependency. Haruno likewise advises them they need to deal with her mom to get permission for the prom.
At school, Shizuka illuminates to Hachiman that Mrs. Yukinoshita wanted to converse with him. In transit, Shizuka and Hachiman discuss the impending talk. In the meeting room, Mrs. Yukinoshita asks if Hachiman is the coordinator of the Prom Saikou Project. At the same time, he denies it. Mrs. Yukinoshita reacts that there is still a part of the association that is difficult to handle.
Imagining Mrs. Yukinoshita's position, whom he observes as the "most hard piece on the board." After a brief talk, Hachiman asks Mrs. Yukinoshita to help with the resistance.
Mrs. Yukinoshita is astonished by Hachiman's bravery and asks for his name. Hachiman reveals to Mrs. Yukinoshita that he is the same person from the car accident while trading expressions of remorse and merriments. Afterward, Mrs. Yukinoshita acknowledges the plan to persuade the resistance.
Hachiman goes to the Service Club and discovers Yukino peering out the window. Hachiman discloses to her that Yukino's prom was validated. However, Yukino reveals to Hachiman that she had a good time in the Service Club.
She also discloses that they should end their fake relationship. Eventually, Hachiman concedes his defeat and asks for Yukino's desire. She implies that Hachiman should grant Yui's wish. Afterward, Hachiman concurs and leaves the room.
Yukino messages Yui to meet up with her at a bus station. They talk about the prom alongside relating to Hachiman's help. As Yui saw Yukino's grin, she understood that this relationship was over.
