We have seen lots of film producers uprising in the entertainment industry, whether it's the Hollywood industry or behind the scenes of American cinema's dominant style. While several are trying to prove their worth with their production, one man from Nepal - Prakash Pathak, a film producer, tactfully challenges to lead the Nepalese film industry.
Mr. Pathak, chairman of 'Happy Pathak Entertainment' (H.P. Entertainment), a Nepali film production company, says: "Obviously, there are challenges not in Nepal but the whole world. Despite that, my motto is to improve our Nepalese film industry's scenario, hunt the talents of Nepal, and bring them forward to the entertainment industry. I'm quite surprised that despite their knack and brilliance towards acting, such talents are not getting a chance to show what they are capable of."

His strategic vision might certainly help those hidden gems who are quite talented but have yet to get a prospect of fulfilling their dreams. With that in consideration, Mr. Pathak has organized an event called 'TikTok Star,' a TikTok Online Competition.
"Under our banner 'Happy Pathak Entertainment,' we will be selecting a leading actress, male/female artist, and a child artist. We will select the top 10 brilliant candidates for live stage performance, and the winners would get sorted out by SMS voting," Pathak states.
"From the TikTok, we will be selecting the talented star and not only give them a chance for acting in the upcoming movie, 'Dreamland Nepal,' but also the winners would get prizes that include a car, scooter, and a smartphone," he adds.
Prior to the 'TikTok Star,' Prakash Pathak, under his banner H.P. Entertainment, organized a 'Script Writing Competition 2020'. Manisha Lama Tamang gets selected on 30 July 2020 to write a script for the upcoming movie 'Dreamland Nepal.' Mrs. Tamang was also awarded a cash prize worth $4200.
While Dreamland Nepal is his biggest project, the 28-years-old Nepalese film producer has already produced movies like Thulomaccha and Nepali Aama. Also, a social activist, Mr. Pathak, is a chairman of a non-governmental organization, NISD (New Initiative for Social Development), and NISD Nepal Immigration Services.
Coming out as a social worker and a film producer was not what the Kavrepalanchowk native had ever thought of. He was a medical student who left 'Kathmandu Medical College' in 2013 AD and went to 'Kantipur Dental College.'

Eventually, Mr. Pathak's ambitions drove him to do something in the Nepalese film industry, and with that in consideration, he opened 'Happy Pathak Entertainment' in 2019. And he is looking forward to fulfilling his ambitions in the sphere of Nepalese entertainment.
