The presenter John Barrowman returned to host the ITV All Star Musicals amid sexual misconduct allegations and the network received major backlash from the viewers of the show as they saw John Barrowman fronting the show.
The West End star, 54, returned to the show for a festive edition of All Star Musicals that gathered a mixed response from the viewers. Majority of them were pissed off an upset to see John Barrowman on the show as one outraged user wrote on twitter, “#JohnBarrowman on prime-time TV is an utter disgrace ITV should be ashamed of!” while another user wrote, “If there was justice, he would be at the employment center! Thank goodness he’s not on #DanicngOnIce anymore so I don’t have to boycott him! How did #JohnBarrowman get this job after all that has been said about his behavior.”
On the other hand, there were people supporting him as one wrote, “Can’t wait, we look forward to this. I missed #JohnBarrowman and his presence and happy smile and smiling.” Another user tweeted, “Always happy to see #johnbarrowman.”
Earlier this year, John Barrowman exposed himself repeatedly on the sets of Doctor Who and Torchwood and was accused of inappropriate behaviors on the set and had apologized for his actions in May. he admitted to troubling on the sets of Doctor Who and the spinoff show, Torchwood. He said, “I think if it was now it would be crossing the line. I think something that happened 15 years ago was debauchery behavior, silly behavior it happened. Was doing within the confines of the set, and we were like family, working together.”
He continued, “I did not hide anything, they were exaggerated and they tried to turn them into sexual harassment which is absolutely not the case. The only thing for me, all the people making a big deal out of it, they weren’t there, they didn’t know the context of things that were done.”

Back in 2020, the couple celebrated their 30th anniversary and John posted on his twitter calling out homophobes writing, “If the trolls don’t like that, let them ban the Instagram account! I’m off to make coffee and put icing on my buns. Happy anniversary to us!” He had shared a video clip of the pair cuddling in a bed and kissing Scott on the cheek.
