'The Black Lives Matter' campaign is sure to make a vast difference in our future generation, in terms of equality. It might be the first time in history the revolution is taking place with a concern about the black roots that have gone several millennia behind.
And guess what it is. The legendary classic musician Ludwig Van Beethoven is said to be of the black race. We have been listening that Beethoven heard impaired, but the discoveries on media have fired the outlets by saying that he is of the black ancestry.
Many scholars have tried to break out the historical secrets of the classical music maestro.
History suggests that Beethoven, who held a German nationality, was a son of the German and Spanish parents, namely Johann Van and Maria Magdalena Keverich. His father was of white ethnicity while his mother, who descended from the Spanish Moors, was recognized as black.
The theory of Beethoven's ancestry got published in 2015 and now has again frenzied in 2020 via Twitter.
One user with a name Alyssa on Twitter wrote, 'Beethoven was black?? Lmfao you all ain't going to hear the last of this from me,' and it received much of the attention. Similarly, people took this post as a serious matter, and the talks of Beethoven's ethnic background became the talk of the town.

Another user '@_cherieldn' shared a tweet stating, 'Beethoven was black?' Several other tweets surfaced talking about the legendary musician, which wrapped him with a warm periphery of the black race community.
On the other hand, many did not believe the running rumors about Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Was Beethoven A Black Man?
As mentioned above, many historians tried out their best to crack the family background and their lineage. However, there is no precise background of the musician, which is genuine.
Historians believe that Beethoven is a mixture of two ancestries, white and black.

Beethoven's parents hail from two different family backgrounds, say the historians. His father named Johann Van was a white Spanish, and his mother, Maria Magdalena Keverich, was a Spanish Moor, i.e., the black woman.
Moor people, who had dark skin complexions, were of mixed origins with Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabian descent. They eventually settled in North Africa between the eleventh and seventeenth centuries.
In the meantime, there is no evidence to support that he was black or Moorish.
Similarly, the current talks on social media are hard to prove.
As Beethoven hailed more than 250 years ago, we can easily believe that there were no means of DNA or photographs to verify his race. On the other hand, many believe that he featured 'brownish complexion.'
As talking about the 21st century now, it's hard to get through the race and backgrounds of the late legendary classical musician. There are no remains of Beethoven despite the portraits.
But the most significant gift of Ludwig Van Beethoven we have is his musical works.
